Toledo Comfort & Plumbing is a free referral service that connects homeowners in the Toledo, Ohio area with independent local HVAC and plumbing pros. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it. The short version: we use your details only to handle your request, we share them with the one pro we match you with, and we don't sell your information.
What we collect
- Homeowner requests: your name, phone number, ZIP code, optional email, the type of help you need, how urgent it is, your description of the problem, your preferred contact time, and your consent to be contacted.
- Pro sign-ups: your name, business name, trade, phone, email, the areas you serve, and your agreement to the pro terms.
- Technical details sent with a form: the page address you submitted from (including any campaign tags such as utm_source in that address), the time, and how long the form was open (used to filter out spam bots).
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not load third-party tracking scripts. Our web host (Cloudflare) may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security and reliability.
How we use it
- To pass your request to one independent local pro who serves your trade and area, so they can contact you.
- To follow up about your request or, for pros, about receiving referrals.
- To keep basic records (for example, which pro received a referral) and to prevent spam and duplicate requests.
Who we share it with
We share a homeowner request with the one pro we match it to. If that pro can't take it, we may offer it to another single pro instead. We don't sell your information or share it with lists of companies. Requests are stored using Google services (Google Sheets and Gmail) that we use to run the service. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Calls and texts
When you check the consent box, you agree that we and the matched pro may contact you about your request by phone, including calls and texts that may use automated technology. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of texts.
Your choices
To ask what we have about you, correct it, or have your request deleted, email [email protected]. We'll delete it from our records; we can't delete copies the pro already received, but we'll let them know you asked.
Children
This service is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
